Throughout the journey over the four days, I've been able to come away with practical approaches and applications to my leadership style and working with others. Contents of the course were amazing, user friendly and applicable in daily life and work. Highly recommended. vijay mor 6 years ago The Breakthrough Leadership program has been a real asset to me personally as a manager in the community services sector. I had a coordinator that struggled with communication and targeted staff development and leanings to his personally cultural norms rather than industry and sector best practice. In searching for a training program that would assist him, I tried larger training providers but came up short to my expectations and the training was not tailored to my staff’s individual needs.Some vital lessons were explored, challenged and practised over several days, challenging my staff member to think differently. For the first time in 18months, my manager was able to practise true/genuine encouragement as he ‘walked alongside’ his team, truly understanding problems from ‘their’ perspective. He has developed a new thinking preference, which has meant he now sees the possibilities rather than team members deficits. This training package has transformed a manager that was focused on reactive facts and figures to a manager that practices empathy, understanding and looks to proactively to support his team for success. This tool helped me see ways to improve my communication, problem solving and decision making skills. It also enabled me to see people's strengths which helped us gain significant efficienies in the workplace, increase ROI and see my team enjoy coming to work!
